Notes:
Full details on this release and the songs can be found here.
Live at the Golden Cross, Coventry - 11th June 2006:
1. Hand
or finger
2. Quit
touching my ass
3. Puny
go stompin'
4. A
summer spent observing green leaves
Notes:
We played this show with Jeniferever. It was the first time we played
Hand or Finger and Puny Go Stompin' in public. It was also the penultimate
show we played before locking ourselves away in Taylor John's House in Coventry
to record these songs and more for "A Hat".
Live at the Buffalo Bar, London - 15th October 2005:
1. Nobody
is fine and everybody needs a drink
2. Quit
touching my ass
3. The
young Ted Danson
Notes:
We played this show alongside You Judas!, Reigns and Skill 7 Stamina 12.
It was the first time we played any tracks from "A Hat" live,
and got a great reaction from a lovely crowd. The performance is a bit wobbly,
but the atmosphere of the show couldn't be bettered.
Live at the Flapper & Firkin, Birmingham - 11th
September 2002:
1. Nothing
of how to live, only to get and get and get;
2. Mnemonic
3. Be
he that lives to telephonic only!
Notes:
We played this show alongside Grover and Explosions in the Sky, who
were on their 3-date debut UK tour. We'd known EITS since 2000, so it was
amazing to finally hook up with them here and a few days later in London.
We have distinct memories of Andy the promoter brandishing a local newpaper
at this show, which had an local politician publicy criticising the scheduling
of the gig because it was "disrespectful" of the victims of the
World Trade Center attack a year before. Mental. Mercifully, no one gave
a shit.
